The second Central Asian Peering and Interconnectivity Forum (CAPIF 2) was held on 19-20 September this year, organised on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Technologies together with Uzbektelecom and Inha University in Tashkent.

On the second day of the forum, aimed at supporting regional co-operation in Internet development, the main topics of IPv6 deployment in the region and related security issues were discussed.

&nbsp;

In particular, representatives of major companies and industry organisations Jen Linkova (Google), Yoshinobu Matsuzaki (Internet Initiative Japan Inc), Abolfazl Najafi (MTN-irancyell) and Roman Chuchuk (XCOM KZ) made presentations on topics dedicated to IPv6 development issues.

&nbsp;

At the end of the forum, the partners agreed to further expand co-operation within the framework of the discussed issues.
